We had Lauren's first conference of the year and she is off to a great start to the school year. She is reading at the highest level and scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on her reading test. She was the only one in her class to do that! She is also in the 90th percentile for math, Grandpa Great would be very proud! She is also a great friend and often helps out a girl in the class who needs some extra attention. We are so very proud of her and her wonderful report.
As some of your know Sydney started speech a few weeks ago. She is doing very well. She misses a lot of first letter sounds and ending letter sounds. She defers to P, T and D instead of F, C, G. She has mastered the F sound so Fozzy is no longer Pozzy. We continue to work on the C/K sound right now. She likes to help Daddy make Coffee and put it in his cup!(Usually it's Toffee Tup).
The picture above was taken at Thanksgiving with Grandma Katie's Santa. On a side note our nephew Ben made the varsity squad for Apple Valley Hockey!!!! We can't wait to see him play!
We are very much looking forward to the Christmas break and spending time with family!
